Want to add CBCT, but short on space? The Acteon X-Mind Optima 3D is built to be small, light and easy to fit. It weighs just 69 kg and uses a "zero footprint" design, so it fits into almost any practice. You get panoramic (2D) and 3D imaging from one unit, without giving up a whole room.

The right view for every case

Choose the field of view (FOV) that fits the job. A smaller view gives more detail. A larger view covers more of the mouth in one scan.

Clear images for confident decisions

A modern detector and a 60–90 kV range give clear, detailed images, even in complex cases. The new ClearIQ filter improves image quality even more. Automatic recognition of the patient positioners helps you get accurate results every time.

AI that saves you time

The X-Mind Optima 3D works with Acteon's RealGUIDE software. It uses AI to make planning faster and more accurate. Tools include:

A lifetime RealGUIDE licence ("AI for life") is available as an option.

Connects with your practice

Acteon Imaging Suite (AIS) manages all your images in one place. It connects with your practice management software and works across devices in your clinic. DICOM is available as an option.

How much space do I need?

Not much. The X-Mind Optima 3D weighs 69 kg and has a "zero footprint" design, so it fits into almost any practice. Our team can check your room and tell you which version fits best.

Which version should I choose: wall, floor or ceph?

Wall suits rooms where floor space is tight. Floor suits rooms where the wall can't take the unit. Choose ceph if you need cephalometric images, for example for orthodontics.

What is the difference between Core and Flex?

Both give you 2D and 3D imaging. Flex adds the option of the larger 17 x 12 cm field of view.

Can I take normal panoramic X-rays with it?

Yes. It is a 2D/3D unit, so you can take panoramic images as well as 3D scans.
